The show of solidarity came 12 days into the actors strike, and after Variety questioned the “lack of A-listers” at most events.

Actors and union representatives took turns giving fiery speeches in the heart of Times Square, while tourists gawked and passing trucks honked in support.

Insiders fear the combined writers/actors strike could drag on throughout the summer, affecting the fall TV season and film releases.
