Hard to believe that it’s been half a century since the film world lost martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
Lee broke negative stereotypes around Asian men in films.
They gathered in Hong Kong today on the 50th anniversary of his death to commemorate the man and celebrate his life philosophy on persistence.
Lee was born in San Francisco but raised in Hong Kong; becoming famous for his martial arts talent and his fight against racist portrayals of Asian-Americans on big and small screens in the 1960s and 70s.
He died at the age of 32 from an allergic reaction to painkillers.
