Some Hong Kongers will soon find it easier to become permanent residents of Canada.

Starting August 15th, Ottawa says it will remove all educational requirements for Hong Kongers, who have at least a year of work experience in Canada.

The move effectively opens pathways for people of all ages, instead of the current focus on students and recent graduates.
