Nearly a week after a shooting in Leslieville, that claimed the life of innocent passer-by, there’s been an arrest.
32-year-old Damian Hudson of Toronto faces a charge of second-degree murder.
Police say he was out on bail on two release orders and banned from having weapons.
Sources say the accused was charged with assault causing bodily harm at the Bloor-Yonge subway station and assault at the Kennedy station, both in 2021.
Those matters are still before the courts and Hudson was out on bail.
44-year-old Karolina Huebner-Makurat, a mother of two, was hit by a stray bullet fired during an altercation among three men.
