From the Premiers meeting in Winnipeg, Doug Ford is reacting to Olivia Chow’s comments on her first day as Toronto’s Mayor calling the Queens Park and Ottawa “reluctant partners” in funding for the city.

Chow also says she’s willing to take the province to court if it expropriates land around Ontario Place.

“The comments are disappointing you know already the first comments that we’re going to court?” Ford told reporters. “I’ve proved I can work with anyone, I have a great relationship with Andrea Horwath former NDP leader and I believe in working collaboratively together.”

Chow says she’s looking for opportunities to meet with the Premier but no dates have been set.

“We need housing in the GTA and around Ontario,” said Ford. “That’s what we should be focusing on not necessarily Ontario Place because on a level of one to 100, for people around our entire province, I’ll tell ya, they wont be talking Ontario Place.”
