Drivers beware.

Those who are Niagara-bound on the QEW will have to consider the 403 and the Linc through Hamilton for the next four Friday night because of repairs on the Burlington Skyway Bridge.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation says beginning tonight at 8 pm, the Niagara Bound lanes of the Skyway will be closed for more than 12 hours so that “critical repairs” can be made to the bridge.

And that work will involve closures every Friday night in July.

According to the Ministry, the lanes will reopen at 9:30 Saturday morning and in case of bad weather, the closure will take place Saturday night into Sunday morning.
