THE EAGLES ANNOUNCE ''FINAL'' TOUR AFTER MORE THAN 50-YEARS ON THE ROAD

Saying everything has its time and that the time has come for them to close the circle, The Eagles announce their last tour ”The Long Goodbye” with special guest Steely Dan.
Band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey released this statement.
”The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds.”
”We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long runs has last far longer than any of us ever dreamed.”
The statement goes on to say they will ”perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands.”
The initial 14-concerts kick off in New York, September 7.
