The Canada Revenue Agency will be issuing “grocery rebate” payments to eligible Canadians.
The one-time benefit first unveiled as part of the 2023 federal budget, payments will be hitting Canadians’ bank accounts this Wednesday along with GST rebate payments.
The grocery rebate will pay out a total of about $11 million dollars to low and modest-income Canadians.
A single eligible person with no children could receive a maximum payment of $234 dollars. The amount increases depending on the number of dependents living in the home.

If you are single
If you are married or have a common-law partner
If you do not receive the Grocery Rebate on the expected date of July 5th, the government asks that you wait 10 business days before making inquiries.
