The lone Canadian on Nasa’s latest voyage to the moon says the upcoming trip illustrates the “collaborative role” Canada can play on the world stage.

Jeremy Hansen will be the first Canadian to travel to the moon as part of the Artemis Two mission.

The trip involves sling-shotting into deep space for a figure-eight manoeuvre around the far side of the moon.

Artemis Two, with Hansen on board, is expected launch to occur as early as November 2024.
