James Taylor has a severe case of laryngitis and writes on his website that he thought he could push through, but his doctors have ordered him to a strict vocal rest.

The 75-year old music icon had to postpone all his concerts for this week, but says he hopes to be well enough to perform in Milwaukee Saturday night.
