He’s an award-winning producer, lead singer, guitarist and songwriter with one of Canada’s top recording groups of the ’70’s and ’80’s.

Chilliwack’s Bill Henderson’s career spans 50 years and on Monday, is about to reach another milestone.

The 78-year-old is being inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in his hometown Vancouver.

With Chilliwack, he penned some of the band’s most successful songs with 14 albums under their belts including  “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)” “I Believe,” and many more.
