Zoomer music legend Rod Stewart has been a mainstay in pop music for 50-years.

Now at the tender age of 78, Sir Rod says he’s ready to stop rocking.

Stewart told the BBC he isn’t retiring, he looking to change musical genres from pop and rock to swing.  He says he wants to do more music in the style of the Great American Songbook and has work lined up with with Jools Holland’s band that Rod says borders on rock ‘n’ roll but isn’t.

And, he’s not giving up rock and roll until after this year’s tour which takes him from Vancouver to Montreal in August with a stop at Niagara’s Fallsview Casino in September.
