ODE FOR ENGLISH DEMENTIA STRICKEN PIANIST

He’s 83, has dementia, but continues to play, teach, compose and raise money.

And now he’s been honoured as a Member of the Order of the British Empire.

Paul Harvey, who lives in East Sussex, England was diagnosed with dementia in 2020.  Since then, he’s raised almost $2-million for dementia research with a song he wrote, from just four notes, that topped the iTunes and Amazon music charts.

And how did he celebrate being included in the King’s birthday honours?

With a whisky in his coffee of course.
