Environment Canada has issued a special air quality statement related to the wild fire smoke in the air which has drifted as far south as Tennessee.
The national weather agency says the smoke is from wild fires in Quebec and may not clear the area until the weekend.
Those with respiratory issues or heart problems, older adults, pregnant women and children are advised to stay inside as much as possible.
If you work outside, and start to feel ill, you are urged to move inside as soon as possible.
