Hard to believe it’s already been that long.
The Princess of Wales Theatre officially opened 30-years ago this Friday.
Financed and built by David and Ed Mirvish, it was the first privately built, stand-along theatre in 50-years.
It’s debut show ”Miss Saigon” opened with record-setting advance sales of  more than $30-million.
”Miss Saigon” played for two-years and since then more than 95 productions have played on the stage of The Princess of Wales Theatre, which features over 10,000 square-feet of artwork by American painter 87-year-old Frank Stella.
More than 20-million people have enjoyed a show at the iconic venue.
