The union representing striking Canada Revenue Agency workers is accusing the government of playing games at the bargaining table.
Public Service Alliance of Canada national president Chris Aylward says members are insulted and that ‘enough is enough’
“If we do not see a fair offer put on the table today, we will be at the Liberal Party of Canada convention in Ottawa tomorrow,” said Aylward. “Enough is enough, we want to see a fair deal on the table today, our members are fed up, and out members need to get back to work serving Canadians.”
Some 35,000 workers remain on picket lines two days after P-S-A-C reached a tentative agreement with the Treasury Board for more than 120,000 other federal government workers.
The union says wages, telework, job security and protections against contracting out certain positions were among the remaining sticking points.
