She’s a Zoomer music legend and she’s about to get an honourary degree from the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Roberta Flack will be honoured at the school’s commencement ceremony on May 13th.

She’ll also address the graduating class the night before and the graduating class will perform a concert featuring her music.

Flack who is a five time Grammy winner is now 86 and has been diagnosed with ALS, which is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and can no longer sing.
