The washrooms and water fountains in Toronto’s public parks are beginning to reopen for the season.
The manager of the city’s parks says the reopening is expected to be completed early in May.
Denis Domato says it usually takes two to three days to get each facility up and running. As of yesterday, more than 30-of the city’s 128 seasonal washrooms were open.
Spray and splash pads will open in mid-May.
Wading pools and outdoor pools are scheduled to open by late June .
