In a final show on anger, thousands of protestors in France marched long a designated route holding lit flares, facing off with a large number of police officer.

They’re opposed to French President Emmanuel Macrons unpopular plan to raise the retirement age to 64 from 62.

Before the main protest, more than 100 railroad workers marched down a Paris street of luxury boutiques, invading the offices of LVMH offices, a luxury conglomerate.

A March strike left Paris’ streets littered with uncollected garbage as collectors launched a strike.

The new round of nationwide strikes comes on the eve of an expected ruling by a top constitutional body they hope will derail Macron’s pension reform plan.
