It’s another sign of the changing times.

After being released in 1968, “Delilah,” by favourite son Tom Jones, became an anthem at sporting events across Wales.   But it would seem, no longer.

The Welsh Rugby Union has announced the song has been banned from the Six Nations Tournament game in Cardiff this Saturday when Wales plays Ireland.

The WRU says the song is upsetting some supporters, amid allegations of sexism, bullying and racism.

The song is about a jealous lover seeing a woman with another man and the resulting outcome.
