After four days of mostly menswear previews for next fall and winter, Milan Fashion Week ended on a tranquil note.
Giorgio Armani of Milan and Dhruv Kapoor of India created similar moods in their collections, but with vastly different aesthetics.
On Monday, one showed a study in tailoring and muted hues, while the other showed an explosion of colour on silhouettes that mixed the oversized and the petite.
Armani invited his admirers to view his collection in one of Milan’s hidden courtyards.
With his new collection, Kapoor hopes to promote self-acceptance by reconciling alter-egos as a means of healing.
