Her name was Edyth “Edie” Landau and she was the Oscar-nominated producer and executive vice president of National Telefilm Associates.
Among the many TV shows and movies she produced is the 1962 adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s play, “Long Days Journey into Night.”
Edie Landau has has died in Los Angeles of natural causes at the age of 95.
She is survived by her three children including son Jon Landau the Oscar-winning co-producer – with Canada’s James Cameron – of blockbusters like “Titanic” and “Avatar.”
