If you can hold off till Thursday, you’ll save a total of eight cents a litre when you gas up.
The average price of a litre of gasoline dropped four cents at midnight last night, now selling for $172.9 cents a litre and is expected to drop another four cents at midnight tonight, putting the price at $168.9.
However, gas price guru Dan McTeague says prices will continue to climb and we could see them hit the $2.00 a litre range again. He blames that on inflation, certain policies aimed at combating carbon pollution and whether the Ford Government re-imposes its gas taxes after January first.
