There is a warning from the experts that we could be paying $2 for a litre of gas again soon.
The price has risen 13 cents a litre over the past two days and another four cent a litre hike is expected Thursday at midnight.
Dan McTeague, the President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, predicts this upward trend will continue.
Gas prices hit a record $214.9 per litre in Toronto in June, then fell to to $140.9 cents per litre in last monght, the lowest price since January.
