Monday October 17th marks the beginning of the new Pfizer COVID-19 bivalent vaccine roll out in Ontario.

Residents who are 12 and over are now eligible to book an appointment for the vaccine which targets the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron sub-variants as well as the original strain of COVID-19.

The Moderna bivalent vaccine, which targets the BA.1 Omicron sub-variant as well as the original version of COVID-19 has been available for all Ontario adults since September 26th.

Appointments may be booked through pharmacies, some healthcare providers as well as through the online portal at ontario.ca/covid19 or by calling the hotline at 1-833-943-3900 daily from 8am to 8pm.
