Over the course of a 40-year career, he played played on thousands of sessions with some of the biggest names in music.

 

Guitarist Ray Edenton has died

Back in the 1960’s he once played on 22 sessions in five days over a single week.

Over a 40-year career, he backed up artists like Neil Young, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and Kenny Rogers and singers like Julie Andrews, Rosemary Clooney and Sammy Davis Jr.

He retired in 1991.
