VETERAN CHARACTER ACTOR HENRY SILVA DIES AT 95

He was known for playing tough guys and villains over a TV and film career that spanned more than half a century.

Veteran character actor Henry Silva starred as “Kane” in the 1979 movie Buck Rogers in the 25th century, had a famous fight scene with Frank Sinatra in the “The Manchurian Candidate” and was part of the cast of the original “Ocean’s Eleven.”

Silva a was a New York City native who joined the famed Actors Studio in the 1950s and then went on to  hundreds of TV and film credits before retiring in 2001.

Henry Silva has died of natural causes a few days shy of his 96th birthday.
