The first group of this year’s inductees for Canada’s Walk of Fame was officially announced last night.

Among them,  R & B vocal powerhouse Deborah Cox,

The CEO of Indigo Books Heather Reisman

and the late multi-faceted athlete Lionel Conacher.

Walk of Fame CEO Jeffery Latimer made that announcement last night at Toronto’s Casa Loma and said more inductees will be announced in due course.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for December 3rd in Toronto.
