As the war in Ukraine approaches four months, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke virtually to  students at a dozen Canadian universities, including those at the U of T.
”We’ve already surprised the world,” he said while speaking through a translator.
”We’ve come together to do the impossible and we shall prevail against all the odds for the free and democratic future.”
Zelenskyy urged people not to ”become tired of the war” and to keep rallying communities to action.
He says the country needs more weapons, financial support, humanitarian aid and permanent sanctions on Russia.
Students also tuned in from Western University, Queen’s University, the University of Waterloo, Wilfred University, University of Calgary, University of Alberta, University of Saskatchewan, University of Manitoba, Universite de Montreal, University of Prince Edward Island and Dalhousie University.
