In Washington Tuesday, members of the U.S. House Select Committee investigating last year’s January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol reconvene for a fourth public hearing today.
The panel will hear testimony from Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
He will be asked about then-outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump’s phone call on January 2nd, 2021 requesting for him to find votes to prevent Joe Biden’s election victory.
“I just want to find 11,780 votes which is one more than we have,” said Trump in archive audio.
Also key witnesses on Tuesday, Raffensperger’s deputy Gabe Sterling and Arizona’s Republican state leader Rusty Bowers.
The panel will focus on how Trump pressured battleground state officials with schemes to reject state tallies and electors, all fueled by his false claims of election fraud.
