Scottish violin virtuoso Nicola Benedetti has had to cancel several performances in the UK because she’s developed tendinitis in her wrist.

She was due to play a folk festival in Suffolk this week but those shows have been cancelled as has the festival’s final concert with her Benedetti Baroque Orchestra, which was scheduled for June 26th.

Organizers have wished her a speedy recovery.

34-year old musician and has toured internationally with some of the world’s greatest orchestras and conductors.

She was awarded the Queen’s Medal for Music in 2017, the youngest ever recipient and has received nine honorary degrees.
