The men who keep Elvis alive at weddings in Las Vegas are fighting back against the licensing company that is trying to get the impersonators out of sin city wedding chapels.
Elvis impersonator Dean Diamond say the King would roll over in his grave if he knew what Authentic Brands Group is trying to pull off.
Authentic Brands handles all licensing for the Elvis estate.
Diamond says instead of banning the impersonators, they aught to be thanked for keeping Elvis’ legacy alive. He adds their performances are supported by the wedding industry, the casinos, the mayor of Las Vegas and the governor of Nevada.
They say Elvis was a giving man and would have been humbled knowing his legacy lives on through their work.
