Thursday marks the 70th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation at Westminster Abbey.
French President Emmanuel Macron says his country will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with the gift of a horse and a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe.
The seven-year-old grey gelding belonging to the French Republican Guard was delivered to Windsor Castle Wednesday.The horse paraded on the Champs-Elysees last month in the ceremony marking the anniversary of the victory of the Allied forces over Nazi Germany.
Elizabeth became queen on February 6th, 1952, when her father died, but Thursday will mark the 70th anniversary of her coronation at Westminster Abbey.
