Canada is considering the smallpox vaccine for monkeypox cases.
Doctor Theresa Tam says not a lot is known about the sudden appearance of Monkeypox in Canada, the U-S, Australia and several parts of Europe.
Quebec has confirmed five new cases and two dozen possible cases are being investigated.
Monkeypox is typically milder than smallpox and can cause fever, headache, muscle aches, exhaustion, swollen lymph nodes and lesions all over the body.
