It’s a custom normally reserved for brides as good luck on their wedding day. But something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue are all costume elements in Downton Abbey: A New Era.
The new period drama not only opens with a wedding, but displays around 300 garments over the duration of the movie.
Costume designer Anna Robbins is in charge of dressing both the upstairs and the downstairs residents of Downton.
Having worked on the TV series and 2019 film, Robbins has had plenty of experience to draw on.
Downton Abbey: A New Era hits theatres Friday.
