The Stratford Festival has officially opened the transformed Tom Patterson Theatre.
The facility, which was once a curling rink, underwent a $72-million domolition and reconstruction that was completed in 2020. However as the result of COVID- 19 mandates and health and safety measures, the reopening was delayed until this week.
The ribbon cutting was followed by its first public performance; Colm Feore starring as Richard III.
