If voters elect the Liberals back to power in Ontario, they promise to cap class sizes at 20 students for every grade.
Leader Steven Del Duca explains it would be achieved by hiring 10,000 teachers; recruiting some from other provinces and helping qualified teachers immigrate here.
The Liberals also say they would work to attract some of the 80,000 Ontario-certified teachers, which the party says are not currently employed by schools, back to classrooms.
The Liberals also pledge to end a mandatory graduation requirement for two online credits introduced by the previous Conservative government.
Meanwhile, New Democrats are promising free or low-cost dental care for all low and middle-income families.
Saying people should not have to worry about how much a necessary dental procedure will cost, Leader Andrea Horwath adds households earning less than $90,000 a-year would pay nothing.
Those with incomes of between $90,000 and $200,000 would co-pay on a sliding scale that would not go higher than half of the bill.
The NDP says its plan would be in place before the promised federal dental coverage is fully in place, and once it is, the provincial plan would ”mesh” with it.
Elsewhere on the campaign trail, Conservative Leader Doug Ford is touting moves his government took to save motorists money, such as removing tolls on Highways 412 and 418, and eliminating and refunding fees for licence plate renewals.
The Green’s Mike Schreiner vows to build 160,000 affordable community rental homes in partnership with co-op and non-profit housing providers.
