UKRAINIAN REFUGEES COMING TO ONTARIO TO RECEIVE UP TO $300M IN SUPPORT

The estimated 40,000 refugees, who are expected to arrive in the province after the Russian invasion, will get immediate, free OHIP coverage, drug benefits and emergency housing assistance through Ukrainian community organizations and services agencies.
The Ford government has also announced children can attend public schools at no cost, that there are ”solidarity” scholarships on an emergency basis at publicly funded colleges and universities.

Housing could include hotels or motels if necessary.
Businesses with openings are invited to get in touch with the government through either the website or hotline.
