The number of people with COVID-19 in Ontario hospitals has jumped 30 per cent compared to this time last week.
The province is reporting 857 hospitalizations today, and 168 COVID-19 patients in intensive care.
That’s compared with 655 people in hospital last Monday, and 158 in I-C-Us.
The percentage of tests coming back positive is also continuing to rise — it’s at 19 per cent today, the highest since mid-January.
Today there were no new COVID-related deaths reported.
