Ontario doctors have ratified a three year agreement with the Ontario government.
In a statement, the Ontario Medical Association says the agreement addresses important issues for patients and physicians and brings stability to health care at a time when doctors need to focus on the pandemic backlog.
The agreement provides for a one per cent increase in each of the first two years of the agreement. The year 3 increase will be determined later.
The OMA represents 43,000 physicians, medical students and retired physicians.
