With the war raging in Ukraine, most people now know that Ukraine’s President was an actor and comedian before winning office.

Volodmymyr Zelenskyy’s most famous role was the lead in a hit political satire called “Servant of the People.”

He played a school teacher who, in a fight against against government corruption, becomes President.  The show serves as an epic example of truth being stranger than fiction.

Zoomer Media’s Vision TV has acquired the exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to the show which includes English subtitles.

“Servant of the People,” began airing in 2015, ran for three seasons and ended when Zelenskyy launched his run for the Ukraine Presidency in 2019.
