Early in the pandemic, we showed our support for nurses and healthcare workers by banging pots and pans.
Now, nurses are getting a chance to talk about their pandemic experiences as part of a theatre project starring Canadian literary legend Margaret Atwood and nurses.
The social just troupe Theatre of War Productions in New York is hosting a free Zoom reading of the 25-hundred-year-old play “Antigone.”
The play centres on a young woman who puts everything on the line to do what she believes is right can and will likely spark a lively discussion after, by invited nurses.
The Nurse Antigone premieres Thursday, March 17th starring Atwood and featuring nurses as the chorus.
