Prince Andrew is going to make a “substantial” donation to an American woman’s charity in support of victims’ rights as part of an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre over allegations he had sex with her when she was underage
The Prince is entangled in the Jeffery Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficing scandal.
In reaching the settlement, the Duke of York agreed to pay an undisclosed sum as part of the settlement, and accepted that Ms. Giuffre had suffered sexual abuse but made no admission of liability.
According to American victim lawyer Gloria Allred, Giuffre can still talk with law enforcement about the case and if police decide to lay criminal charges, she would be allowed to testify in criminal court.
In England, questions are being asked about where Andrew will find the money to make the donation since he’s been stipped of his military affiliations and royal patronages.
