PANDEMIC SUCKS FOR ALL CANADIANS, ESPOUSES TRUDEAU DURING EMERGENCY DEBATE ON OTTAWA PROTEST

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was back in person for an emergency debate Monday night on the ongoing Ottawa protest, following his COVID-19 isolation.

In fact, it was his first time in the House of Commons since before the winter holiday break.

“This pandemic has sucked for all Canadians,” declared Trudeau, “But Canadians know the way to get through it is to continue listening to science, continuing to lean on each other, continuing to be there for each other.”

Defiant, Trudeau again denounced the actions of the protesters who have taken over Ottawa’s downtown for 11 days.

He explained individuals are trying to blockade “our economy, our democracy, and our fellow citizens’ daily lives.”

Trudeau was adamant in saying, “it has to stop.”

He also reiterated the federal government would provide whatever resources are required to deal with the protests.

But Interim Conservative Leader Candice Bergen, also in attendance for the emergency debate, blamed Trudeau for causing the protest in the first place.

“When he decided to introduce the vaccine mandate he believed it was the right thing to do. Does he regret calling people names who didn’t take the vaccine? Does he regret calling people misogynists and racists and just escalating and poking sticks at them and being so divisive to individual Canadians that he might not disagree with that he might’ve thought were wrong,” Bergen explained.

What started as a protest against cross-border COVID vaccine mandates for truckers has since morphed into an anti-government protest.

Those protesters were legally not allowed to blare the horns on their big rigs on Monday night or for the following ten days and nights.

An Ontario judge has granted an injunction for that period of time to prevent incessant horn honking.
