ONTARIO, QUEBEC CONTINUE BREAKING COVID-19 INFECTION RECORDS

Canada’s two most populated provinces have once again broken daily records for new COVID-19 cases.
Ontario is reporting 16,713 followed closely by 16,461.
There are 1,144 hospitalized in Ontario with COVID-19, and 205 in intensive care units.
It’s the first time hospitalizations have exceeded 1,000 since May 28.

Meanwhile, there are 40 more long-term care homes in outbreak than yesterday for a total of 98.
Of those, 68 have at least one confirmed resident case, which is an increase of 30 from a day ago.
