As the roll out of COVID-19 boosters continues, a release from Toronto Public Health says later today, 33 percent of eligible Toronto residents will have received their third vaccine.

Anyone 18 or older in Ontario is eligible for a booster at least 84 days after receiving a second dose of COVID vaccine.

There are locations in the city where an appointment is not needed:

The Humber River Vaccine clinic at the Crossroads Plaza opens from 10 am to 4pm or while supplies last for first, second and third doses. Pfizer is being offered to those under 30, and Moderna for those 30 and over.

Michael Garron Hospital in East York is hosting three other pop up vaccination clinics between 10am and 6pm today. They’re being held at Crescent Town Elementary School, Earl Haig Public School and St. John Catholic School. First and second shots are being offered to anyone who walks in, but third shots will only be given to those who live in nearby postal codes.

The following vaccine clinics require appointments:

City-run immunization clinics
The five City-run immunization clinics continue to add new appointments for first, second and third doses of COVID-19 vaccine. To book an appointment, click the blue “Book a Vaccine” button on toronto.ca/covid-19 or call 1-833-943-3900. City-run clinics are easily accessible by transit and offer free parking on site. Clinic staff are also able to provide resources in multiple languages. A person with a vaccination appointment can also bring a support person to help with translation.

People with vaccination appointments are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes early to vaccination clinics. There will be vaccine doses available for everyone who has an appointment; arriving earlier than necessary does not impact availability. There are no walk-in appointments at City-run vaccination clinics.
