Leave it to Mel Brooks to write his own blurb for his new memoir.
On his own book jacket, the 95-year-old writes “Not since the Bible have I read anything so powerful and poignant. And to boot it’s a lot funnier!”
There are also quotes from Billy Crystal, Norman Lear and Conan O’Brien who writes “If you are holding the great Mel Brooks’s memoir and you are wasting time reading this blurb, you are an idiot.”
The comedian, screenwriter and director who gave us such beloved spoofs such as Blazing Saddles, Silent Movie and Young Frankenstein is currently working on History of the World, Part II.
