Health Canada has announced a recall for two brands of aerosol deodorants.

The recall applies to Old Spice and Secret deoderants due to a harmful ingredient that’s been detected.

They’ve been found to contain benzene, a chemical linked to blood cancer and leukemia in humans.

Just over half a million of the products have been recalled–most sold since November 2019.

People are being asked to dispose of the products and ask for a refund from the manufacturer.
