He is finally going, not where no man has gone before because that’s been done, but he is going to somewhere he’s never been.

Decades after he last piloted the Star Ship Enterprise as Captain James T. Kirk, on TV’s Star Trek, star William Shatner is going into space aboard Jeff Bezos’ rocket ship.

Sources say the 90-year old Montreal-born Zoomer legend is slated to be part of the second crew aboard the “New Shepard” capsule which would make “The Shat” the oldest person ever to be launched into space.

According to insiders, Shatner will be on board in October for a 15-minute civilian flight – similar to the last launch.

It’s being shot for a documentary.

What isn’t known if he’ll wear his Captain Kirk outfit on the flight.
