ACTRESS, SINGER, DANCER JANE POWELL DIES AT 92

She was one of the stars of Hollywood’s golden age of musicals, probably best known for her work in 1954’s “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.”

Jane Powell has died at her home in Connecticut of natural causes.

Powell was paired on-screen with Howard Keel in “Seven Brides.”  Among other career highlights; dancing..with Fred Astaire in 1951’s “Royal Wedding” and pairing with Elizabeth Taylor in 1948’s “A Date with Judy.”

Jane Powell was 92.
